The Bingham County Sheriff's Office is looking for new applicants for the Reserve Deputy Program.  The unit consists of community members that are interested in serving their community as Reserve Deputies.

Reserve Deputies are unpaid volunteers whose main interest is the betterment of their community.  Basic standards for a Reserve Deputy are the same as basic Police Officer standards.

The Bingham County Sheriff's Office accepts applications for the Reserve Deputy program once a year due to the training that is involved for each individual that is chosen to participate in the program. You must be:

1.    21 years of age.

2.    In good physical condition

3.    A high school graduate or equivalent

4.   Have no felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions that        would prevent you from becoming a deputy in the State of

5.   Possess an Idaho Drivers License or be able to lawfully
       obtain one.
