B.E.S.T. Composting at the Rattlesnake Landfill

The County has also teamed up with the Idaho Falls company, Bio Environmental Solutions of Today (B.E.S.T.) to convert dead animals and garbage at the Rattlesnake Landfill to usable compost.   A mixture of bacteria and fungus microbes are used to decompose the waste.  Those visiting the site have found that there is no foul odor.  If all goes well, the County will negotiate a contract with B.E.S.T. to continue the recycling process.
