It is required that all buildings to be demolished be inspected by a licensed asbestos inspector prior to demolition.
Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) and Household Materials must be removed prior to demolition of trailer houses and building structures before disposal in a county landfill.
Bingham County landfills can only accept items that are permitted as per the permit issued by the Health Department and Division of Environmental Quality. These items can be found on the Aberdeen and Rattlesnake web pages.
Bingham County will inspect the building to be demolished with the contractor or home owner to assist in identifying items that are not acceptable at the C&D Landfills. Inspections prior to demolition will save the owners or contractors money.
