Homeowners Exemption – reduces the assessed value of your primary residence and up to one acre of homesite land.  The maximum deduction for 2008 is $100,938. The Assessor’s Office administers this program. If you are not receiving the Homeowners Exemption now and/or have any questions, please contact the Assessor’s Office at (208) 782-3019. April 15th is the last day to apply for Homeowner’s Exemption or Circuit Breaker Tax Reduction.

Circuit Breaker – applies to homeowners on a limited income who are also over the age of 65, widowed or disabled. This is a State of Idaho funded program but administered locally by the Assessor’s Office. Please contact them at (208) 782-3022.
