The prosecuting attorney's office is the advisor to the other county offices and departments.  These include: the county commissioners, the sheriff's office, the clerk's office, the coroner, the treasurer's office, the assessor's office, the planning and zoning department, the public works department, the adult probation department, the juvenile probation department, the human resources department, and the information technologies department.
